"Watchmen" is a setting in an alternate 1985 America , in which superheroes are a part of the fabric of the daily society. When a former colleague was murdered, Roshchach went out on an invistigation and uncovered a grave plot to

discredit and kill all past and present day vigilante superheroes. As each piece of the puzzle is uncovered, so is the Doomsday Clock which spells a Nuclear Disaster to the world.

When a former superhero was murdered, a vigilante called Rorshach begins a research on the murder, that begins to uncover a conclusion a lot more terrifying. Superheroes, past and present were targeted. Rorschach discovers a conspiracy which will change the fate of all.

It is the 1980 and it is a different world. The super heroes were hunted, the only ones which operates are in direct control of the government of the United States. Unaware the superheroes get caught as some invisible enemy strikes at them one by one.

A group of retired heroes was forced to take up their mantle once again as one of their colleagues was murdered. what they discover is a far larger plot that could be the end of man kind.

An adaptation of Alan Moore's landmark comic book series, watchmen is a story in an alternate 1985, where the world is nearly in edge of the nuclear war, and a plot to eliminate superheroes is incited, but why? and by whom?

A crime/conspiracy story based on the influential comic by Alan Moore. The story focuses on the life of an everyday hero. It is a time when Costumed Vigilantes were hunted and outlawed, most of them disbanded. A plot was uncovered by Rorschach which will affect all superhero groups.

The "Watchmen" stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Carla Gugino, Billy Crudup, Jackie Earle Haley, and Patrick Wilson. It was directed by Zach Snyder, the director of the epic film "300". Its projected release date is March 6, 2009.

The "Watchmen" will be the movie version of the famed DC Comics graphic novel Watchmen. The novel was a twelve-issue comic book limited series written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons. To date, Watchmen remains the only graphic novel to win a Hugo Award.

The teaser trailer for "Watchmen" was expected to be released during the previews for "The Dark Knight," along with "Terminator Salvation," but it was leaked onto the Internet on Thursday morning. "Terminator Salvation" has a projected release date of May 22, 2009.

The story is set in an alternate 1985 where superheroes exist, Richard Nixon is still president, and tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union are at an all-time high. The vigilante Rorschach is investigating the murder of the Comedian and uncovers a plot to discredit and murder various heroes. Rorschach discovers a far wider-ranging conspiracy involving his colleagues' past which could completely change the course of history.
